Focusing on Optimism This October!

Can you believe it is already October?! Each of you worked so hard during Strength in September, and you finished the month strong with our TransFive No Sugar Challenge! Be proud of yourselves for transforming your mind, body and spirit! This month, we are focusing on Optimism in October! It is going to be a month filled with positivity and encouragement!

Optimism in October means renewing your mind, we can have true JOY!

How can we find this: our fullness of joy is found in our relationship in HIM! Even when our circumstances change, we can have joy at all times because joy is not grounded in our circumstances, but in Him. Joy in Him is eternal!

Are you a walker or jogger ready to begin running and want to feel your best? Or are you an advanced runner who wants to better your running form, build cardiovascular fitness, run more efficiently, or add speed to your step? TransFit Running Coach and Personal Trainer Lisa Patton will come alongside you with a transforming TransFit Runners Workout for all fitness levels to help you achieve your goals.


TransFit Runners Workout is a 55-minute session that includes essential dynamic warmup sequences, running form drills, strength exercises for runners, a heart-pumping outdoor workout, and an inspirational cooldown and post-run stretches. Sign up on our website HERE or our app HERE!

This month, we will be continuing our Bible Study on Thursdays from 12-1 at the TransFit studio. Our Director of Spiritual Development and Outreach, Pam Adams, will be leading us through the Live Transformed bible study, which will guide us through God's Word and teach us how to live transformed! In October, we will be offering a FALL MEAL PLAN on SALE for $9.99! This meal plan, which was created by our registered dietician, Kaeti Shurling and Consultant Katie Woodall, includes four-weeks of meals, grocery lists and healthy fall recipes! Here is a sneak peak at one of the recipes in the meal plan for a Pumpkin Protein Greek Yogurt Parfait! Yum!

Pumpkin Protein Greek Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek plain yogurt (I use FAGE 2%)

  • 1/2 cup organic pumpkin puree

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp honey or 2 drops of Stevia

  • 1/2 cup quick and easy granola

Directions

  • Mix first five ingredients together!

  • Add granola on top and extra cinnamon to taste!

  • Enjoy a delicious fall protein packed meal!
